“This is a critical question for privacy in the 21st century. If the courts do side with the government, that means that everywhere we go, in the real world and online, will be an open book to the government unprotected by the Fourth Amendment.”

Grover Norquist has been getting a bunch of publicity lately…

“Leave us Alone” by Grover Norquist at $26.95 Value
Grover will be attending the “Take Back Washington Townhall” and will be serving on the 4:30 PM regarding Taxes/Spending.
Grover Norquist bio :   Grover Norquist is president of Americans for Tax Reform, a taxpayer advocacy group he founded in 1985 at President Reagan’s request.  He chairs the “Wednesday Meeting,” a weekly gathering of more than 150 elected officials, political activists, and movement leaders.  He serves on the board of directors of the American Conservative Union and the National Rifle Association.
The Wall Street Journal has called Norquist “the Grand Central Station” of the conservative movement, and in 2007 GQ named him one of the fifty most powerful people in DC.  He is the author of the 2008 book Leave Us Alone – Getting the Government’s Hands Off Our Money, Our Guns, Our Lives.
Grover Norquist statement in support of the Take Back Washington rally: “This is the model for both successful tea party activists and successful Republicans–to work together. Any Republican Party that isn’t open to that is headed for failure.”
The Take Back Washington Rally and Town Hall Meeting on February 12 in Bismarck will bring together activists from across North Dakota in a kick-off of the state’s 2010 Congressional elections hosting two keynote speakers: one of America’s best-known conservatives, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) – and the grass-roots-voices of North Dakota whose opinions haven’t been heard in Washington.

The Green Shoots of Obama’s Green Police “The Obama Administration wants to set up yet another federal agency – this one on climate change. Its mission? To provide “relevant and timely information” on potentially life-altering changes in the earth’s environment. In other words, up from the fertile hotbed of environmental activism in Washington spring the ominous green shoots of what could easily become Obama’s own Green Police.”
