Inside Laurel Canyon

Many of you may not remember all the events surrounding LC so this is definitely a good read for you. And for those who do remember a lot of the names and events, this is a good refresher.

  1. Herman Cain was at one time Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. They mention it in the video.

  2. The author of the Laurel Canyon Article is so wrong about Zappa!Besides being the best American composer ever.He was a die-hard libertarian, truth, independent thinker who spent his entire life fighting against the politically correct establishment!

  3. @Matt
I think the point of the article was not to deny that he fought the establishment but more to point out that he met the Modus Operandi of the Hegelian dialectic by serving as the antithesis (controlled opposition) in the realm of social engineering (i.e. a composer).

  4. @Jack

Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head Jack. What an awesome an unsettling expose. Talk about everybody and their Mothers. Incredible!

  5. I like the way Maynard (James Keenen) from Tool put it in ‘Hooker With A Penis’:

All you know about me is what I’ve sold you,
    Dumb f#@*
I sold out long before you ever even heard my name.
I sold my soul to make a record
    Dip shit
    And then you bought one.

It is interesting to note that Maynard served in the Army and attended the Military Academy Preparatory School, and apparently declined an appointment to West Point.

  6. Inside LC reads more like a gossip rag of the bygone flower power era than a research paper. So what if these people had military parents? So did John Denver and countless others. Means nothing. Sometimes you folks really need to take a break from conspiracy land.

  7. In Frank Zappa’s autobiography he described how his father would “help pay the rent by volunteering for human testing of chemical (maybe even biological) warfare agents.” His father, working at Edgewood Arsenal, would frequently (“every week”) come home with bandages covering parts of his body from where different chemicals had been administered. It is well documented that Edgewood Arsenal was a hub for MK ULTRA projects at that time. There are thousands of veterans involved in class action lawsuits to this day.

The greater point is that the connections between these groups of people ARE a worthwhile research topic. If I were in the U.S. government, this sort of evidence would justify going to war.

  8. @Robert

John Denver was mentioned in the article. He was an early proponent of EST (Erhard Sensitivity Training) He died in a plane crash. He also was in the movie “Oh God”. Cooper quoted him in one broadcast as saying “Someday I will BE God.”. He was born in Roswell in 1943 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Denver#Early_years

EST consists of 60 hours of intensive training, usually on two successive weekends, where the initiate attempts to reach the goal of EST “getting it.” It is, however, never clear exactly what one gets, for Erhard’s system is a unique combination of Zen Buddhism, Scientology, and Vendanta Hinduism, coupled with the power of positive thinking.

Erhard has said, “We want nothing short of a total transformation – an alteration of substance, not a change of form” (Werner Erhard, What’s So, Jan. 1975). This alteration or transformation is accomplished during the training sessions by attempting to change the individual’s concept of who he is. Once a person’s belief system is shredded, the person becomes vulnerable to accepting the ESTian world view.

  9. The Conspiracy has hi-jacked everything else in the world — why couldn’t they hi-jack rock and roll, too?

    They could.

    They did.

This is one of the reasons I like to make my own noise.

Listening to a lot of music isn’t good for a body anyway.

And since they feel it’s perfectly all right to steal our souls with rock and roll recordings and Hollywood movies, I quickly conclude that it is perfectly all right for us to steal their souls by stealing rock and roll recordings and Hollywood movies.
