Quote of the day –

Candidate Obama vs. President Obama,

The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.

As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action.”

  1. Hey wait a minute! Didn’t Obama win the Nobel Peace Prize? If so, then we can rest assured that this attack on Libya must be peaceful in nature.
All you need is love baby!

P.S. – The Canadians have sent peace-planes to Libya too, and since we’re well known as peacekeepers, it just confirms my initial hunch that it’s all about peace.

  2. Of course, all of our attacks on other countries are in the interest of peace and the greater good. It’s only when other countries try to defend themselves when we attack that it becomes a bad thing.
