Oklahoma seems like it’s going for the throat. This may be it, folks. If these cases get to the SCOTUS the outcome could prove definitively whether or not the Constitutional system still exists even in an ostensive sense. It will be interesting to see how this plays out — if it’s for real or it’s just another political farce. Color me cynical but I smell a huge rat.

Oklahoma Sovereignty Resolution Clears Senate

State Sen. Randy Brogdon said he was “elated” after the Senate joined the House in approving House Concurrent Resolution 1028, asserting Oklahoma’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. An earlier legislative attempt by Brogdon to stop the federal government from overstepping its bounds was vetoed by Gov. Brad Henry.
“HCR 1028 will not have to go to the governor—and with its passage today, it will go to straight to President Obama and Congress. We are telling them loud and clear to end all federal mandates that are beyond the scope of powers specifically outlined in the constitution,” said Brogdon, R-Owasso.

I understand where you’re coming from but that’s not a very viable solution. The way things are now, public “education” is here to stay. Shifting control back to the state and local level and keeping the federal devil down in a hole is probably the only way to clean up the mess at this point. And that doesn’t seem too likely. If I’m not mistaken Ron Paul ran on a platform that included that very issue and most people thought the guy was nuts. Very sad commentary on America.

Our education system is so bad… maybe the Chinese can do better. Seriously. Let them have the Masonic controlled public education system. Get your own children out of it and let them have at it. When all the children are out of school, what will they do then?
