Newlinks updated all week.

We're working on an all new HOTT SHOP which should be online within a few months - offering Shortwave radios and other electronics, all of our regular videos and audios, including online downloads, and much more! Food kits, survival kits and many of the other items we've been discussing in our newest programs.

Doyel has commenced filming on the newest video we will be offering, whose working title is "Emergency First Aid". We will eventually have a complete series of these survival videos to offer. The tenative outline for this video is as follows :

1 Evaluate a Casualty (probably the most important section)
2 Administer first aid to a chemical casualty
3 clear an object from the throat of a conscious victim
4 Perform CPR
5 Put on a field or pressure dressing
6 Put on a tourniquet
7 Apply dressing to an open abdominal wound
8 " " chest wound
9 " " head wound
10 prevent shock
11 splint a suspected fracture
12 Give first aid to burns
13 recognize and give first-aid to heat injuries
14 give first aid for frostbite
15 Transport a casualty using one-man and two-man carry

Robert has been busily editing the Symbology in Ottawa series although bad weather kept us from getting the final needed tidbits of footage all this week. (It figures this would be the week Rob took off to finish up the filming!).

It should be noted that all of the new videos we are producing will have full DVD indexing and menu option. (Sorry, no 5.1 Dolby surround sound - yet!)

The documentary on Bill Cooper is nearing completion and should be in our hands by late this year or early 2006.

As always, please remember we are listener supported. If you get something from our broadcasts and this website please consider donating to keep them going.

Don't know who took the photo, but it is definitely breath-taking.

The listener who recently sent in the sunset picture has created two correctly sized images that can be used as your screensaver if you like : Download the 800*600 format here, or the 1024*768 format here. He has requested that you make a donation to HOTT if you use the images.
