Clinton's Big Lie

Exclusive - by William Cooper - Most Americans will admit they believe President William Jefferson Clinton is a chronic, and maybe even a pathological liar. No one, not even his supporters, are willing to dispute that perception. But Americans seem willing to accept a liar as President as long as they are happy and the economy is good. But is it? Is the American economy good?

According to a report issued on January 7, 1999 by employment consulting firm Challenger, Gray, & Christmas, 1998 was a record year for employment figures, but at the expense of American workers. The report reveals U.S. companies cut a total of 677,795 jobs in 1998 far surpassing the previous decade-high of 615,186 in 1993, 10% over 1993, and a 56% increase over 1997. December 1998 layoffs were double those of November of the same year.

The Clinton-Gore administration claims it has helped to create nearly 18 million new jobs. It claims that unemployment dropped to 4.3% in December, 1998, the lowest in nearly 30 years. The administration further claims 93 consecutive months of peacetime expansion, which if true, would be an all time record. But is it true?

The truth may shock you. In an effort to spin the unemployment figures in favor of the Clinton-Gore administration only those who are currently drawing unemployment benefits in the form of a weekly check are counted as "unemployed". People who's unemployment benefits have run out who are still unemployed are not counted. People who are on welfare are not counted. People on general relief are not counted. People receiving State checks for on the job injuries are not counted. People who are homeless are not counted. And to skew the figures even more, anyone who is hired as a part time worker on referral from an unemployment office is counted employed.

America's industries have been deserting the American worker like rats abandoning a sinking ship. They have been moving to third world nations in order to take advantage of cheap labor. There are only a few consumer goods available that have been manufactured in the united States of America. Downsizing, streamlining, and automation have taken a terrible toll on the American work force amongst those manufacturers that remain

The American economy is rapidly shifting from an industrial to a service economy and wages have dropped accordingly. The perception instilled by the Clinton-Gore administration is that the economy is great, and we are better off than ever before despite the fact that most high paying jobs have disappeared for the average American worker. The administration does not tell you that factoring inflation the average American's wages have dropped considerably over the last 10 years. The emerging service economy is mostly an minimum wage economy. McDonalds's and Dell do not pay near as much as an automobile assembly line worker used to earn.

The facts tell us the Clinton-Gore administration has taken on the worst character trait of it's leader. The claims of the administration appear to be lies. Clinton has claimed he created 18 million new jobs almost every year since his first election. Is he telling us that 18 million new jobs have been created each year of his administration? Is he telling us he created 18 million new jobs during his first term in office? Is he telling us he has created 18 million jobs during his total time in office? Or is he practicing the "big lie" invented by Adolph Hitler?

Clinton has claimed that his administration created 18 million new jobs during his first four years in office. He has made the same claim applying the 18 million to his time in office every year since. How does that square with his just released claim that during his entire administration he has created 18 million new jobs? How is it that the American People cannot seem to add 2 + 2 and come up with the right answer?

The Clinton-Gore "new jobs" number is a classic example of the repetition of a "big lie". It is absolute proof that the American sheople cannot, or will not, apply reason to what they hear.

If the Clinton-Gore administration claims it created 18 million new jobs during the first four years in office, and Clinton claims today that he has created 18 million new jobs during his total time in office, it means that no new jobs have been created in the last 3 years. Every year he has claimed that his administration is responsible for creating 18 million new jobs during his time as President.

Does anyone have any proof that the Clinton administration has ever created 18 million new jobs at anytime during his administration? Have the American People become a herd of sheep that follows blindly the Judas goat? What terrible disease has destroyed the thinking process of the average American Citizen?

Factor in the current global economic collapse. Top it off with the probability of a Y2K panic, a panic which may result in a run on banks, and we have a recipe for deep recession. A modern recession portends unprecedented unemployment much worse than that of the Great Depression of the 20's and 30's.

The flight of American industry will most probably continue. Layoffs caused by the collapse of the global economy are certain to increase over the next year. Sooner or later the "big lie" will fail as the full effect of the worsening economy comes home to the Average American Citizen. At that point our economy may come tumbling down as never before in history.

The Federal Reserve expects a catastrophe. It has already printed and stored $50 billion in anticipation of the Y2K panic. But $50 billion can never be enough cash in a debt based economy where money is created out of thin air every time someone takes out a loan or makes a credit card purchase. If a run occurs the demand will be for many times $50 billion. Banks will be forced to close their doors, the economy could collapse, the stock market might crash, and those who have not prepared may suffer terribly in the chaos of the aftermath.

So why is the administration lying to the American public? What makes politicians think they will survive the anger that is sure to come? The administration is made up of Marxist-Leninist socialists. They do not want Americans to be prepared. They do not want the middle class to survive. They know the anger of the sheople will eventually dissolve into a resignation to accept whatever is necessary to restore order, maintain security, and feed the family. Socialism must have a redistribution of wealth, and a leveling of the classes. The collapse of the economy is the only reasonable means to that end. Is this is the year of the realization of the socialist dream.
